The experience, quality of service and attention to detail that has made our Moorings restaurant such a favourite with visitors and locals alike has been brought to bear on the food we serve in our bar.

Where most pub grub menus are aimed at purely sustaining the hungry traveller, we have made a conscious effort to not compromise our commitment to great food. We've simply learned to make great food, quickly, so you get the best of both worlds.

The menu is packed with delicious, great value snacks, sandwiches and meals to satisfy any appetite.

With a busy fishing port outside our door, seafood features strongly on the menu. Here are a few of our most popular dishes:

  • Seafood Basket - a medley of seafood
  • Catch of the day - Out of the sea, and onto your plate, with the minimum of fuss and maximum of flavour.
  • Sea Skins - Potato skins filled with crab & prawns with a chilli mayonnaise

Our commitment to great seafood was recognised this year when the Bridge Bar was made a member of the BIM Seafood Circle Pub Lunch. An award which recognises the diversity of our seafood menu, the knowledge of the waiting staff and, of course, the skill of the preparation.

There are currently only 20 members in Ireland so we're naturally delighted to have had our efforts recognised in this way.

We hope you will come and enjoy the fruits of our labours for yourself.
