Wrote... Last week my husband & I made our first visit to Ireland from our home in Houston, Texas. We happened upon Portmagee with the route we were taking thru the southern area. What a beautiful setting. I took various pictures for our book of memories. I accidently got to see The Bridge Bar inside because of the owners kindness running into him after discovering the public "facilities" were locked and he was at the recycle bin throwing in some bottles. I know I had a pained look on my face and he told me to let the folks at the bar know he said I could use the "facilities" there. That kind of hospitality in itself, let alone the beauty of the town is enough to come back and truly visit. Once again, thanks a million for the kindness to a stranger in her time of need!
