In the more than 20 years we've been in business, we've played host to thousands of Skelligs visitors here at the Moorings. In our experience, what visitors need is:

• To feel secure that they will have a place on a Skelligs boat if they're going out
• To stay somewhere as close to the quay-side as possible
• To be well-informed about Skelligs history, what to expect on the trip and what to bring
• To be well-rested before the trip and well-fed on their return

With that in mind, we've put together the Moorings Skelligs Package for 2011 to cover everything you need when you come to visit Skeligs.

• Your boat trip to Skelligs booked for you - if there's a boat going out, you'll be on it.
• 2 nights bed and breakfast in the Moorings Guesthouse - the closest accommodation to the quayside where the Skelligs boats leave from in the mornings.
• A complimentary map of the harbour and the trip route to orient you as to the sites you'll be seeing along the way.
• A delicious packed lunch for the trip - as we point out in our Skelligs FAQ, you can't get food on the rock itself and sitting down to a hearty lunch on Chris's Saddle, after having climbed 660 steps is a rare pleasure.
• A delicious and exclusive Skelligs Coffee on your return - we'd tell you what's in it, but... it's a secret!
• Entry to the Skelligs Experience Interpretive Centre - the more you know about Skelligs, the richer your experience on the Island will be. Which is why we recommend a two night stay. Ideally, if you can get here before 6pm the day before you're planning to travel, you can visit the centre and whet your appetite ahead of your trip.
• An evening meal in our award-winning Moorings Restaurant.
• A special discount on purchases of any Skelligs-related items in our beautiful Cois Cuain Gift store next door.
• Finally, we couldn't let you leave without leaving some Skelligs Chocolates on your pillow.
